These carpets are woven by Hazara weavers. Like other Hazara carpets the Amu line rugs are finely woven with a symmetrical (Turkish) knot and a supple handle. The difference between the Amu line and our other rugs woven by Hazara weavers is that the Amu rugs are slightly finer in weave and the rugs from the Amu line are primarily larger rugs with 19^th Century Persian decorative designs. They are available in room sizes from 6’ 0" x 8’ 0" to 10’ 0" x 14’ 0".
