The weaving is of medium fineness, approximately 90 knots per square inch. The name Aryana is an ancient name for the Central Asian region which includes northern Afghanistan. This line of rugs was one of our earliest creations. Yayla has been making the Aryana line since 1991. This line of rugs is perhaps our most eclectic in terms of design. It contains 19th century tribal and village designs, contemporary and gabbeh designs and some more formal traditional rug designs
